- 1 small cabbage (shredded)
- 6 slices bacon (use grease from bacon only)
- 1 onion
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1 1/2 lb. ground meat
- 15 oz. Ragu
- 3 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1With grease from bacon, fry onion and rice until onions are tender.

2Put in baking pan with cabbage.

3Brown ground meat on stove.

4Strain and put in pan.

5On stove, heat sauce and water. Put in pan.

6Add salt and pepper.

7Cover and bake at 400° for 50 minutes or until rice is tender.

8Use 9 x 13-inch pan.
