- 1 lb. bulk pork sausage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 (18 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped (reserve liquid)
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. dried crushed red pepper (optional, to preferred hotness)
- 10 c. shredded cabbage
Directions

1In a large kettle, brown sausage, beef and onion.

2Drain off fat.

3Add remaining ingredients, except cabbage.

4Mix well.

5Stir in cabbage and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Yields 10 to 12 servings.
