  • 2 c. rice, cooked in 3 1/2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 head small cabbage, grated
  • 3 cans tomato soup (undiluted) or 2 cans soup and 15 oz. chopped/stewed tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • caraway seeds

Directions

    Brown onion and ground beef and drain. Mix with rice, cabbage, soups and sugar. Put in 9 x 13-inch pan and sprinkle with caraway seeds. Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.
