  • 1 head cabbage
  • 2 cups milk
  • 14 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 12 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 16 saltine crackers

Directions

    Shred the head of cabbage and put in a casserole dish.

    In a sauce pan, heat the milk, butter, salt, pepper and celery seed to just under boiling.

    Pour the sauce over the shredded cabbage and crunch the crackers over the top.

    Cook at 350 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes.
