Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 13 lb bulk sausage
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup Minute Rice
  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 14 cup ketchup
  • 1 (11 ounce) can sauerkraut
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 head cabbage

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Mix first 6 ingredients together.

    Coarsely chop cabbage.

    Arrange meat mixture & cabbage in layers in a greased 2-21/2 quart casserole dish.

    Pour tomato sauce over all and top with saurkraut.

    Drizzle with ketchup and brown sugar.

    Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until cabbage is tender and meat and rice are cooked.

    Serve with mashed potatoes.
