- cabbage leaves wilted
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 2 tsp. chopped onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 2 c. tomato sauce or juice
Directions

1Butter a good sized casserole dish that can be covered.

2Line the dish completely with cabbage leaves.

3Fry hamburger, onion, salt and pepper until meat loses its red coloring.

4Mix rice into the meat.

5Pile mixture into cabbage leaves.

6Fix more cabbage leaves over top of meat.

7Pour tomato juice or sauce over all. Cover and bake at 350° for at least an hour, until leaves are very tender.
