Cabbage Roll Casserole

  • 1 small cabbage
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1/3 c. rice (uncooked)
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Chop cabbage in large pieces.

    Place in bottom of greased casserole dish.

    In skillet brown beef and onion; pour off fat. Stir in rice.

    Place mixture on top of cabbage.
  5. 5
    Cover all with tomato soup and water.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for 1 hour or until rice and cabbage are done.

    This recipe can be used with sausage, chops or other meats along with the seasoning you prefer.
