  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • salt, pepper and ketchup
  • onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • some cracker crumbs or a slice of bread, crumbled
  • 1 large cabbage

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Boil cabbage in water until soft.

    Put meat mixture in each leaf.

    Put in roaster or pan with small amount of oil; brown lightly.

    Add tomato soup or tomato juice.

    Simmer until done.
