- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. raw rice
- 1 egg
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp. sweet basil
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- garlic and pepper to taste
- 1 can V-8 juice
- 1 head cabbage
Directions

1Separate cabbage leaves, trimming away all tough parts.

2Place leaves to tenderize.

3Mix all ingredients.

4When leaves are tender, put a large spoon of the meat-rice mixture in each leaf. A toothpick may be used to help hold the cabbage around the meat. Put rolls in a pan with cover.

5Add the can of V-8 juice and cook 30 to 40 minutes.
