- 1 large head cabbage
- 2 tablespoons fat
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 pound ground pork or beef
- 3/4 cup rice (cooked)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon salt
- pepper
- 2 pounds sauerkraut
- 2 cups tomato juice
Directions

1Boil cabbage in hot water 8-10 minutes.

2Drain.

3Peel off leaves.

4Fry fat, onions, and garlic together until light brown. Mix with raw meat, rice, eggs, and spices.

5Put 2 tablespoons of meat mixture in center of leaf and roll it up tight.

6Put sauerkraut on bottom of large pan.

7Arrange cabbage rolls on that. Pour tomato juice over all.

8Cover and cook for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

9Serve with sour cream.
