Cabbage Rolls With Venison

- 1 1/2 lb. ground deer
- 12 large cabbage leaves
- 1/2 c. shredded onion
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 3 c. tomato juice
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Brown meat and onion in butter.

2Mix with rice and seasoning. Blanch leaves in boiling water.

3Place meat mixture in center of leaves.

4Fold over and secure with toothpick.

5Place in greased dish and cover with tomato juice.

6Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
