Cabbage Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. chicken flavor Ramen noodles
  • 6 c. shredded cabbage
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c. unsalted sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 c. sliced almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Mix together cabbage and onion.

    In a jar shake together sugar, vinegar, oil, salt, pepper and the flavor packet from noodles.

    Pour on the cabbage and chill.

    When ready to serve, crush the noodles (do not cook) and add along with the sunflower seeds and almonds to cabbage mixture.

    Toss and serve.
