Ingredients
- 2 c. celery, cut up (including green tops)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. dried onion flakes
- 2 qt. water
- 4 c. cabbage, shredded
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. liquid sugar substitute
- 2 c. diced tomatoes
- 6 peppercorns
- 2 envelopes powdered chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. salt or to taste
Directions

1Cook celery and onion in water. Mash them through a strainer, extracting all juices. Add juices to cabbage and lemon juice. Cook for 1 hour. Stir in sugar substitute, tomatoes, peppercorns and chicken broth.

2Cook 1 hour longer.

3Season with salt.
