- 2 lb. beef short ribs
- 1/2 lb. chicken wings
- 3 qt. water
- 2 c. shredded carrots
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 8 c. shredded cabbage
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 (1 lb.) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- sour cream
Directions

1Simmer beef ribs, chicken wings and water for 3 hours.

2Remove meat from bones.

3Discard bones.

4Refrigerate meat and broth separately overnight.

5Skim off and discard fat the next day. Combine broth and meat.

6Add other ingredients and simmer for 3 hours.

7Serve in bowls with a dollop of sour cream.
