  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can peas
  • 1 (15 oz.) can carrots
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 head cabbage (you can add more if needed)
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce (optional)

Directions

    Open all cans into crock-pot, crushing tomatoes.

    Chop cabbage up into fine, long strips (like cole slaw), adding to crock-pot. Dice onion up.

    Brown hamburger, draining grease off.

    Add to crock-pot.

    Salt and pepper well.

    Crock-pot will appear full, but will cook down as the day rolls on.
