Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 2 c. chopped carrots
  • 2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 large can diced tomatoes
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 qt. club soda

Directions

    Saute onion, celery, carrots and mushrooms in margarine.

    Add chopped cabbage.

    Stir and continue to saute.

    Add tomatoes and club soda.

    Simmer until hot.

    Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

    Can also be refrigerated for 10 days or 2 weeks.
