- 1 large onion
Directions

1Brown beef on all sides.

2Add water to mid-level of roast. Cook until tender, approximately 3 hours.

3Add chopped, shredded cabbage, tomatoes with juice and sliced onion.

4Cook until vegetables are tender, about 1 hour. Good served with mashed potatoes.
