- 1 small cabbage
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/4 c. rice
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 c. hot water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Remove tough outer leaves from cabbage and cut into 8 wedges, removing part of hard core.

2Place wedges in a greased casserole. Place onions, ground beef and rice between wedges.

3Combine tomatoes, hot water and seasonings and pour over casserole.

4Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

5Serves 6 to 8.
