  • 1/2 gal. small green tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. each chopped onion and bell pepper
  • 2 c. white vinegar
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Heat liquid ingredients to a boil; add remaining ingredients. Simmer on low until tomatoes turn gray.

    (Do not boil.)

    Seal in sterile jars.

    Makes 6 pints.
