  • 4 ounces anchovies, drained
  • 12 lemon
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 -2 dash cayenne
  • 13 cup olive oil
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 12 cup crouton
  • 2 bunches romaine lettuce
  • 1 egg

Directions

    Rub the bottom third of a wooden bowl with a garlic clove; add anchovies and mash until they are a paste.

    Add egg and the juice of 1/2 lemon.

    Mince garlic cloves and add along with Worcestershire,salt, mustard, red pepper, olive oil, and parmesan and stir well.
