- 3 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 3/4 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. light molasses
- 3 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 3 medium onions, quartered
- 1/4 lb. piece salt pork
Directions

1Wash, cover beans with 5 cups of water.

2Soak 8 hours or overnight.

3Then add 2 cups water, mustard, pepper and next 8 ingredients.

4Boil, covered, about 1 hour or until skins of beans begin to wrinkle.
