Ingredients

  • 1 large Boston butt
  • 2 large fryers or chicken parts
  • 4 qt. tomatoes
  • 4 cans whole or creamed corn
  • 4 cans English peas
  • 1 gal. catsup
  • 1 bottle hot sauce
  • 3 qt. finely chopped potatoes
  • 4 large or 3 medium, finely chopped onions

Directions

    Boil meats together until done; debone.

    Chop very fine.

    Boil potatoes and onions together, until tender.

    In large pot, heat corn, peas and tomatoes until hot.

    Add meat and catsup.

    Add hot sauce to taste.

    Simmer for an hour or so, keeping it stirred very well.

    Simmer slowly.
