- 3 c. pecan halves
- 2 Tbsp. corn oil margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar, divided
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
Directions

1Preheat oven to 250°.

2Place pecans in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Toast in oven for 5 minutes, or until golden brown.

3In 2-quart saucepan, melt margarine over medium heat.

4Stir in corn syrup and 1/4 cup sugar, stirring constantly.

5Bring to boil over medium heat.

6Boil without stirring 5 minutes.

7Pour syrup over pecans, stirring constantly to coat evenly.

8Bake 1 hour, stirring several times.

9Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup sugar.

10Toss to coat evenly.

11Immediately spread out on greased baking sheet to cool. Quickly separate into individual pecans.
