  • 40 violets, washed and drained
  • 1 egg white, beaten
  • 2 drops almond extract
  • 1 Tbsp. water

Directions

    Do not attempt to remove green calyx from violet.

    Mix egg whites, water and extract.
  3. 3
    Brush on violets, covering each flower well.
  4. 4
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar, completely covering both sides.
  5. 5
    They can be dried in the open air a week or two, in a sunny window in 2 or 3 days or in the oven at 200° for 20 to 30 minutes.
