- 40 violets, washed and drained
- 1 egg white, beaten
- 2 drops almond extract
- 1 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Do not attempt to remove green calyx from violet.

2Mix egg whites, water and extract.

3Brush on violets, covering each flower well.

4Sprinkle with powdered sugar, completely covering both sides.

5They can be dried in the open air a week or two, in a sunny window in 2 or 3 days or in the oven at 200° for 20 to 30 minutes.
