Candied Yams

  • 2 large cans yams, drained
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 pkg. mini marshmallows

Directions

    Spray a shallow baking dish with nonstick coating. Cut larger pieces of yam in half.

    Place in the dish in a single layer. In a saucepan, melt margarine, cinnamon and brown sugar. Add 1/3 package marshmallows and mix well to melt.

    Pour marshmallow mixture over yams.

    Sprinkle more marshmallows on top. Bake for 45 minutes at 325°, basting often.
