- 6 cups baking apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp. lime juice
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 9-inch pie crust, double crust
- 2 tbsp. butter
- margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup butter

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. heavy cream
- 1/2 cup pecans
Directions

1In a large bowl, toss apples with lime juice.

2Combine dry ingredients; add to the apples and toss lightly.

3Place bottom pastry in a 9-inch pie plate; fill with apple mixture.

5Cover with top crust.

7Bake at 400F for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and apples are tender.
