  • 2 unbaked pie crusts
  • 6 c. tart apples, sliced
  • 1/2 c. cinnamon red hot candies
  • 1/3 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/3 c. all-purpose flour

Directions

    In mixing bowl, toss apples, candies, 1/3 cup sugar and flour. Pour into pie crust.

    Crumble second pie crust with 2 tablespoons sugar and sprinkle over apples.

    Bake at 375° on a baking sheet, 55 to 60 minutes.

    Serve cool.
