- 1 lb. carrots, sliced lengthwise
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 tsp. or less Tabasco sauce
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Boil carrots until just tender.

2Drain and set aside.

3In pan, combine butter and brown sugar; mix well over low heat.

4Stir until bubbly.

5Add Tabasco and salt.

6Remove from heat.

7Add lemon juice and carrots.

8Stir gently to coat well.

9Serve warm or cold.
