- 3 qt. popped corn
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. water
- 3/4 c. nuts of your choice
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. hot water
Directions

1Place syrup, sugar, margarine, salt and water in two-quart pot.

2Cook over low to medium heat to 300° (hard crack stage). Stir in nuts, add baking soda in hot water to hot syrup and stir well.

3Pour hot syrup and nuts over popped corn in large greased pan.

4Mix syrup and corn rapidly.

5Spread thinly on cookie sheets or wax paper and let cool.

6Store in closed container.
