Ingredients: 3 sticks margarine; 3 c. sugar; 4 eggs; 3 c. unsifted flour; 1 c. buttermilk; 1 tsp. vanilla; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans; small bag of chocolate candy kisses

3 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. unsifted flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
small bag of chocolate candy kisses

Directions

Have ingredients at room temperature. Cream together margarine and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk and vanilla. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 of pecans. Add remaining batter; push chocolate kisses into batter with teaspoon. Sprinkle with remaining pecans. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes. (Candy will sink to bottom of cake.) Cool 5 minutes in pan.
