- 1/2 lb. caramels (25)
- 2 Tbsp. heavy cream
- 1 1/4 c. pecan halves
- 4 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
Directions

1Melt caramels with cream over hot water.

2Let cool about 10 minutes.

3Arrange pecan halves in groups of 3 on lightly greased baking sheet (1 for head and 2 for legs).

4Spoon melted caramel over nuts, leaving tips showing.

5Let stand 30 minutes.

6Melt chocolate over hot water.

7Remove from water; stir until smooth. Cool.

8Spread over caramel of turtles (do not cover nut tips). Makes 24 turtles.
