- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups mashed canistel
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie pastry
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°F

2Mix sugar, salt and cloves in small dish.

3Beat eggs in large bowl.

4Stir in canistel and sugar/clove mixture.

5Gradually stir in milk and vanilla.

6Pour into pie shell. Bake 15 minutes in a preheated 425°F oven; turn temperature down to 350°F and bake about 30 minutes more or until firm. Serve with whipped cream.
