  • 2 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper (per pt. jar)
  • dill weed (per pt. jar)
  • 1 clove garlic, cut up (per pt. jar)
  • green beans (fresh, per pt. jar)

Directions

    Combine first three ingredients and bring to a boil.

    Turn to low and keep warm.

    Put next four ingredients into a pint jar. Put syrup mixture over; put on canning lids.

    Boil in cold water bath for 20 minutes.

    Eat from jar just like pickles.
