Ingredients

  • 2 qt. water
  • 1 c. carrots, chopped
  • 2 c. butter beans
  • 1 peck tomatoes (2 gal. peeled and cut up)
  • 6 chopped onions (1 qt.)
  • 2 pods chopped hot pepper (remove seeds)
  • 4 pods chopped sweet pepper (remove seeds)
  • 16 ears corn (3 pt.)
  • 7 cubed potatoes (1 1/2 qt.)
  • 1 qt. cut okra
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 5 Tbsp. plain salt

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a large container, put over heat and bring to a boil.

    Lower heat to medium and continue to boil for 30 minutes.

    Stir to prevent sticking.
