- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 pkg. brown gravy mix
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 red pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced chestnuts, drained
- 4 green onions, sliced diagonally into 1-inch pieces
- 1 1/2 c. Minute rice
Directions

1Brown beef in oil in large skillet about 5 minutes.

2Combine water, gravy mix, soy sauce and ginger.

3Add red pepper, water chestnuts and green onions.

4Bring to full boil.

5Stir in rice. Cover; remove from heat.

6Let stand 5 minutes.

7Fluff with fork. Makes 4 servings.
