- 1 (10-inch) pie crust (top and bottom)
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. sausage meat
- 4 medium potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
Directions

1Line a 10-inch pie pan with pastry.

2Combine meats and cook, stirring, until meat particles separate, about 10 minutes.

3Boil potatoes and onions together until tender.

4Drain and mash, adding some of the potato liquid.

5Add the spices, meat and some of the pan drippings.

6Combine well.

7Turn into the pastry-lined pan. Cover with top crust.

8Cut slits in top crust; bake at 425° for 30 minutes.

9When reheating use 350° oven for a few minutes.
