- 1 1/2 c. corn, unpopped (5 qt. when popped)
- 1 c. butter (can use 1/2 nucoa 1/2 butter)
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- peanuts (optional)
Directions

1Boil butter, sugar and syrups for five minutes, stirring constantly.

2Add vanilla and pour slowly over the popped corn mixing well.

3Bake in 250° oven for 30 to 45 minutes, stirring every few minutes to prevent top from burning.

4When it's as crisp as you want it, pour out on waxed paper.

5Store in airtight container.
