Caramel Apple Corn

  • 1 bag (14 Oz. Size) Kraft Caramels
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Water
  • 1/4 teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 2 cups Dried Apples, Chopped Or Seneca Apple Chips, Broken Into Small Pieces
  • 8 cups Popped Popcorn

Directions

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

    Melt caramels, butter, water and nutmeg over medium heat, stirring constantly.

    In a large bowl, combine apple and popcorn.

    Slowly drizzle caramel mixture over popcorn while tossing.

    Take coated popcorn, spread on greased cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes.

    Toss 10 minutes into baking.

    Remove popcorn from pans and cool on parchment paper.

    When cool enough to handle, break apart large pieces and stor in an airtight container.
