Ingredients: 1 pkg. Duncan Hines caramel supreme deluxe cake mix; 1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can apple pie filling; 1/2 c. chopped nuts, if desired; 1/2 c. (1 stick) melted margarine; sweetened whipped cream, ice cream or coffee cream

1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can apple pie filling
1/2 c. chopped nuts, if desired
1/2 c. (1 stick) melted margarine
sweetened whipped cream, ice cream or coffee cream

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°.

Spread pie filling in the bottom of a 9-inch square pan.

Combine dry cake mix, nuts and melted butter or margarine.

(Mixture will be crumbly.)

Sprinkle over pie filling and bake at 350° for 40 or 50 minutes, until golden brown.

Serve with ice cream, whipped cream or serve warm with coffee cream.
