Caramel Apple Pie

- 2 1/2 c. thinly sliced Jonathan apples
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 25 caramels
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 1 deep dish pie crust
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- whip cream
Directions

1Preheat oven and baking sheet to 400°.

2In a medium bowl, combine apples, sugar and flour.

3Set aside.

4In a double boiler or in microwave, melt caramels with milk, stirring frequently. Add apple mixture.

5Spoon into pie crust and top with nuts.

6Bake 25 minutes.

7Allow to cool 1 hour.

8Serve warm or cold.

9Garnish with whip cream.
