- 4 tablespoons butter
- 7 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon orange liqueur (Triple Sec, Cointreau, Grand Marnier)
- 4 bananas, sliced in half lengthwise
Directions

1In a pan, melt the butter, add the sugar, stir to combine and simmer for 3 minute.

2Add the lemon and liqueur and stir gently.

3Put the bananas in the sauce and simmer for 5 min, or until the sauce thickens.

4Occasionally spoon the sauce over the bananas to baste them.

5Serve with vanilla ice cream or waffles and whipped cream (optional).
