- 1 bag caramels
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 stick melted oleo
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. chocolate chips
Directions

1Melt the caramels with 1/3 cup of evaporated milk.

2Mix the cake mix, melted oleo and 1/3 cup evaporated milk; put half of this mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Pat in crust and bake at 350° for 6 minutes.

4Remove from oven and sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate chips over crust, then pour caramel mixture over.

5Put rest of cake mix mixture over caramels and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
