- 60 light caramels
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Directions

1In a heavy saucepan or double boiler, combine caramels and 1/2 cup evaporated milk.

2Cook over very low heat, stirring constantly until caramels are melted.

3Set aside.

4Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
