- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. warm milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 5 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Mix all ingredients until all flour is mixed in.

2Let rest 30 minutes.

3Brush with butter.

4Knead down a few times and let rise until double in bulk.

5Divide in 3 parts.

6Roll out about 1/4-inch thick.

7Brush with butter.

8Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture (about 1 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon). Divide into three.

9Fold over and cut in 1-inch strips with a pizza cutter.

10Twist and place in pan.

11Brush with butter and let rise.

12Bake at 350° until brown.

13Ice with powdered sugar.
