- 40 caramels
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. nuts
- 6 oz. chocolate chips
Directions

1Melt over medium heat caramels and set aside.

2Mix together cake mix, butter, milk and nuts and pat 1/2 of mixture into 10 x 13-inch pan.

3Pat out, bake for 6 minutes at 350°.

4Take out of oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top, then pour melted caramels over that.

5Crumble the rest of the cake mixture over the caramel, then bake another 15 to 20 minutes.
