- 1 pkg. Kraft caramels
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. melted margarine
Directions

1Melt caramels in 1/3 cup evaporated milk and set aside. Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Combine in a bowl the cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and margarine.

3Spread half of mixture in pan and bake at 350° for 6 minutes.

4Then spread the chocolate chips and pour the caramel mixture on top of the chips.

5Spoon remaining cake mixture on top and bake 15 to 18 minutes.

6Do not overbake.
