- 1 Pillsbury devil's food cake mix
- 1 can Pillsbury chocolate icing
- 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
- 1 bag Kraft caramels
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Prepare cake mix according to directions on package.

3Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Pour 2/3 of cake batter into pan.

4Bake for about 20 minutes, until batter starts to get firm.

5While batter is baking, unwrap caramels and place in a double boiler.

6Add margarine and melt. When melted and smooth, stir in milk.

7Remove cake from oven. Pour caramel mixture over cake.

8Spoon remaining 1/3 batter over caramel mixture.

9Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until cake is fully cooked.

10Let cool completely.

11Cover with chocolate icing and top with nuts.
