- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 1 stick butter
- 1 lb. Kraft caramels
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 large bag chocolate chips
- nuts to taste
Directions

1Melt the butter, caramels and milk in a double boiler, then cool.

2Mix cake as directed.

3Put half in cake pan and bake for 15 minutes.

4Cool.

5Put the caramel mixture over the cake.

6Put the rest of the cake mix on top of the caramel.

7Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.

8Bake 25 minutes more or until done in a 350° oven in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
