  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. Crisco
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

    Combine all ingredients except eggs. Blend thoroughly, then beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and beat 2 more minutes. Bake in 2 layer pans 30 minutes at 350°.
