- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. white or dark Karo syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. whipping cream
Directions

1Stir first three ingredients plus 1/2 cup whipping cream constantly in large pan until it boils.

2Add the other 1/2 cup whipping cream and keep stirring on medium heat.

3Boil until a few drops in cup of cold water form firm ball.

4Remove from burner. Add vanilla and pour into buttered Pyrex pie plate.

5When almost cool, cut into pieces.
